Bassline is back… AND WE’RE STACKED. Juicy Fest lineup this, One Love lineup that… Now let us drop OUR lineup.

BASSLINE IS BACK
Created by Maia Williamson

Bassline has returned in extravaganza fashion. Not only are we coming back to air, we’re expanding to podcasts, a live gaming twitch stream, and broadcasting nationally on TV Channel 200 - including a radio show that’s simultaneously casted on TV, multiple short series, and live news. Don’t worry, the stacked RnB lineup stays the same on 96.1.

Live Simulcast

Craving some spice to your weekday? It’s Bassline, live on TV and radio, in a variety show packed with interviews, music features and games. Brought to you by Harry and Zoe. We are confident this has never been carried out before in the media, so this is HUGE.

Radio Shows

We’ve still got you covered outside of the simulcast with the best RnB music and a variety of hosts from 9-5 to keep you entertained.

Feature Shows:

CT Sportstalk is a sports show hosted by Coby Moratti and Tobias Macintosh that dives into the current and past sporting world, rounded with average chat and a trickle of personality. Every Tuesday 5pm-6pm.

Your ultimate source for up-to-date Christchurch chat and breaking news, ‘The Dish’ brings you all the insider info you crave. Whether you’re catching up during your commute or are enjoying a pre dinner coffee, The Dish is your go to for everything hitting the Bassline. Stay in the loop with Holly and Beka, 5-7pm every weekday bar Tues!

The GameLine

“The Gameline” is run by two hosts Aidan and Sam, streaming live on twitch and playing the latest and greatest games together. From 18th of November, catch these hilarious gentlemen 1-3pm multiple times a week.

Podcasts

All on Green:

In this ‘vodcast’ style poddy (video and audio), our two hosts Matt and Cam interview sports guests about their personal and professional lives. ‘All On Green’ will host a variety of guests from both well-known sports and niche sports. The twist? There’s a roulette wheel, with green, red and black colours. If it lands on:

Green - the episode ends

Red - hosts ask a spicy personal question

Black - hosts ask a professional career-based question

All On Green allows us to dive deeper into the life of athletes from around New Zealand in an engaging, interesting and informative fashion for you.

F$# Ing Risky:

Real risks, real people, real rewards. A 6-episode interview-based podcast focussing on the big risks that Kiwis have taken in all areas of life, hosted by Coby Moratti. We have some pretty interesting guests, so this one will get the ears turning.

I Think You’re Hot:

The ‘I Think You’re Hot’ podcast takes you from mate to date, blending inspiration from our two male hosts and expert advice from seasoned New Zealand guests, with knowledge on all things relationships. 7 episodes will take you through each stage of your dating journey, with a ‘Pick Your Own Ending’ twist. The final two episodes will be up to your discretion, based on your situation. Is your love life successful, or did it not work out? Fear not, there is an episode for both.

All episodes will be posted to the Bassline Website and Bassline Spotify, with ‘All On Green’ also being uploaded to Bassline YouTube. Snippets will be played on air on 96.1, and on our social medias, so there is no way you can miss our podcast eps out weekly.

Mini Series

Because we are too hot to stop, we ALSO have 3 mini series that’ll feature during our nationwide TV spot on Channel 200.

Rhythm And Kai:

Alby, an established fish and chip reviewer in Christchurch, takes local RnB artists out to various eateries and chats to them about their music, lives, and projects over some kai. This gives insight into the side of these artists you don’t typically get to see, while simultaneously giving you some epic food spots to try out.

Upward Spiral:

Timothy the timid office worker is stuck in a time loop from 9-5, literally and figuratively. However, when the world he knows begins to change, he struggles to deal with the consequences. Our motto for this banger? “Life without change is life without growth”.

Roady:

Two hosts embark on a road trip, using the Roady app to uncover hidden gems. Over three days, they explore off-the-beaten-path locations, competing to see who can discover the most unique experiences. This one is packed full of challenges, laughs and yarns that’ll provide entertainment for days.

News

Last but certainly not least, the news! Bassline is dedicated to keeping you up to date and informed, and we’ve expanded how we’re doing that.

Digital News:

You’ve heard us bring you news to Bassline 96.1, but get ready to get a deeper insight into the headlines you need to know. Our news team is dedicated to bringing you the information you need straight to your feed. Need water cooler chat? We’ll chuck in some BTS and story sneak-peaks to keep the work yarns flowing. News on the Menu is Bassline TV’s news and sport, delivered to you by our team from a classic Kiwiana bar. Tales from small towns, memories from the past and stories from across the motu. This’ll take 15 minutes of our 2 hour spot on Channel 200, so tune in to be the smartest of all your mates.
